Most of you know about the 59 I bought off of Buddy Hale last year. It's a August 58 build. My 13 year old son Hayden made a deal with me and this is going to be his first car :D :D We wen't to Cali over the holiday and picked it up. I bought it without a motor. The seller told me he was pulling the one that was in there out. When I got there, it was still in there and it was a 36er. The guy had all his tools out and was getting ready to pull it. I ran the numbers and it matched the car... The car is matching numbers.. I did some negotiating and he agreed to leave the motor in the car..

Hayen is really excited about this one. He want's to do it stock like his granddads. I'm trying to talk him into leaving it like it is and building it. It has a 4" narrowed beam in it with disc brakes up front and type 3 brakes in the back. We'll see.. It'll be cool whatever he decides to do with it. The car came with all sorts of parts also. Buddy Hale gave him a set of popouts. It has a Lenny Cop interior kit, 4 tab hood, etc. I'm excited to build it with him. Pretty cool
