This thing is ugly: just wanted to start off on the right foot.

79 bay offered to us by one of our customers for basically free; was used up and down the California, Oregon and Washington coast for about ten years by a local surfer. Last on the road in 2010; taken off the road when the clutch cable broke. She was not very mechanical.

She will be transformed into a lifted, Overland outfitted Backcountry explorer with custom parts, bumpers, rock sliders, roof rack, lighting, roof top tent and onboard galley.

Plan is to have it complete in time to run the Washington Backcountry Discovery Route late next season(shooting for August) 600 miles of FS roads and trail connecting Washington

Main reason for the build is to be a tool for our Outfitter business. Good for promoting the sport and Rugged Overland.

Actually there is a slight revision for plans for the Mule.

It is still going to be built out as an overlander but it is now going to be raffled or auctioned off with the proceeds going to a charity.

I will document the build here but the final article and write up will be through our friends at http://www.theadventureportal.com/

The first manufacturer to come to the table was our friends with Pronghorn Overland Gear: they are going to provide front and rear bumpers for the project.

Still lots to go but this is going to be a pretty fun project. Looking forward to it.
