Most of you have already seen this car, but I wanted to start documenting the progress. This car came from Düsseldorf Germany. A dealer owned it for years and years prominently displayed on his show floor. When he died the car went into his estate. My friend over in Germany help me to locate the car. It's a real Heb that's been documented in the registry. The unfortunate part is that the car was wrecked pretty bad in the 60s. It has a front Graft from a later model Beetle. The wreck was bad enough that it is on a later oval era pan. I took possession of the car at the Hessisch Oldendorf show. My plan is to slam it on Jason's old pan and have some fun before I blow it up for a complete restoration. I purchased my old 49 split back from Nate as a donor car. Stay tuned!!

We had a great time driving it around the old town. She did great. This last weekend, we hauled it out to the Anaheim VW Treffen. It was a good times for sure!! We also picked up the stroked 25hp motor that's going in soon.. Here's some pictures.
