Took a few days off work, today I worked on the bug lots of sanding to remove the clearcoat for a patina years ago and the surface rust. Very little rust thru, not bad for a 60 year old car. Need to fix a bad front clip repair.

I got moving slow on the Bug, I have been getting it all cleaned up Media blasting but working outside on the carport kinda sucks with wind blowing the media around, afraid to make a mess inside the shop. I have finally made a dirty room in the shop to spray the media and spray primer. So hope it starts going faster now.

WOW its been awhile since I have been busy on this car! Been doing a little here and there. The car went all the way down to bare metal, fix the 3 pinholes in the body a few more pin holes in the heat channels.

Looks great, but also looks like a ton of work... and I am definitely impressed since you're getting to be kind of an old guy ;) More power to you, buddy!

I'm gonna keep working my day job so I can get other people to do that for me. I ain't got the willpower or energy (or talent) to do that!
