I'm the proud new owner of a 1973 Std Beetle. It is, and will remain, a daily driver. I've not decided what to do with it aside from removing the Ricer-influenced red/black interior and stinger tailpipe.

Thanks guys.

I'm pretty much driving it as-is right now. For the most part, I'm thinking about just putting back the parts the POs removed and making everything work properly and look right. Trunk release, interior knobs, etc. I'm going to change the exhaust but i'm not sure if i want to put the heater back together (jtubes currently). I've not decided what color i want it and i can't do the interior until i decide what color i want the outside. I've put together some colors i've been considering: http://armedgeek.net/bug:color I'm leaning towards the yellow/white or green/white.
