Hi all,

Just wanted to introduce myself. I am new to VW's and I am currently building a Volksrod. I hope you wont hold that against me. I have tried to attach a pic, we will see if that works. It started life as a 68 Type 1, in rough shape. Tons of rust and a busted engine. So far the fenders and bumpers are gone. Engine rebuilt. Stock rims are powder coated red. Interior stripped. Rust repair started. I have welded quite a few patches, learning how to weld on this project. 8" front end extension just installed. Need to install new brake lines up front. And then the part I am worried about the most wiring. The PO left in tons of wires that must be bad but not hooked up to anything. So it is quite the mess to troubleshoot. Anyways that's a little about me. I look forward to meeting up with yall in the future.
