I'm too lazy to post pics.

I got both axle nuts loosened then it rained like crazy so I never got around to doing the brakes up. While it was raining I turned my attention to the carby and did a rebuild on it, it should work...I friggin hate carbs :furious: I pulled the dizzy and cleaned it up a little and tested the vac canister, looks like a winner. The metal fuel line to the pump was completely full of this nasty tar/molasses like substance, nothing a torch and some B-12 couldn't fix

Wish me luck, I'm going to fire off this engine tomorrow morning

And maybe next week I will have it running...the coil is kaput :furious: . I HATE distributors :blueguy:

The NOS master cylinder should be here by next week as well as the meaty tires, I'll knock out the brakes, tires, and get'er running then. That should put me right on schedule for The Harvest

I don't wanna bust your bubble, but NOS brake parts are not the best idea. How long has that rubber been sitting on the shelf in a hot warehouse? Just my experience when I had the Squareback......

I know all about that (learned the hard way on the notch), but it was $80 cheaper then a new German MC, I'm kinda limited since it's a one year only deal for my bus

I do plan to take it apart and look at the condition of the seals, I'm sure later MC seals are the same if I got to swap seals.
