Sunday while working on a deer stand a 2x4 slipped and a splinter went into my middle finger. It was big and I could not remove it. I had work to do so I stayed a few more hours trying to finish. When I got home my finger and hand was swolen bad. Jen could not get the splinter out so I went to a emergency clinic. They could not get it out so off to the emergency room. The doc at the emergency room was able to get a piece out about 1/4 inch long and about as big around as a tooth pic an advised I see a hand doc on Monday.

I went to the hand doc on Monday and he said I had to go to the hospital. Ethan picked me up and took me downtown to st Luke's. I had surgery tues evening and was released we'd evening.

The splinter went in my finger and punctured the tendon tube that runs in there causing a massive infection. Luckily when it went in I jerked most of it back out before a small piece broke off.

Ur up? I can't lay in the bed anymore. My back is killing me. 4 days of laying on bed is enough.
