Hello!! Progress is being made! I found the seat bottoms for my car in Greece and one of them has come in. So I've since swapped the upholstery and attached the correct backrest to that seat and threw it in on the passenger side. The seat track adjuster is rusted on this one, so i have been working on freeing it up. Seat still needs to go back another 5-6 inches, so i will need my arm back to full capacity before i get to smacking with the rubber mallet again.

On another note, finally got around to throwing the gearbox and motor back in. I managed to install the plug wire tube and and got the wires through the tube with the help of some lithium grease and alot of pushing/pulling! But that job is done. Also mananged to install the new sump plate i had laying around. It goes against the grain and uses o-ring style gaskets for the seals versus the paper gaskets. still have to add oil back to the motor to see how it fairs.

Oh yeah, I may be in the market for a "correct" gas tank for my car, so if anyone is in need of an early oval-era tank, let me know. otherwise, im throwing this thing back in for the time being. It has already been sealed and is good to go.

So, no hitches thus far, which is a bit worrisome, as many of you know, Muray doesn't get anything accomplished without 15 bones being thrown his way! I just hope the new linkage, and/or the previous shuddering of the gearbox arent the blows dealt to me.....
