Doug- that looks like a clean install, mine is just a I4 so there will be a little more room in the engine bay.

Chrispy- It crossed my mind for half a second but I have a secret crush on k series motors. :?

Scotty G- yes sir, best bang for my buck and a platform that I am already very familiar with.

I got the clutch cable tube welded up nice and secure, but in my rush I managed to pop the springs off the TO bearing    so now I need to pull the motor to fix that...FML.

...but that is going to have to wait, Sunday is work on the K20 day, my parts are in to delete the power steering pump, and I'm going to pull the harness to start prepping it for its new management.

They have been doing a Honda Vtec conversion to the classic Mini Cooper for years. The fit clearance of this mod is measured with a dollar bill :D

Now that is a funny typo, thanks again Jason. I just need to drop the motor and it will be fixed.
