you don't need a gas tank to fire it up. I got my bus motor running in the car port by bolting the tranny to it, using the battery from the notch, some jumper cables, and a regular gas can :hillbilly:

I finally got the rear end built! One hour at a time...time permitting! If the boy goes to bed, and stays in bed, and the chores are all done, I spend the evenings putting this thing back together.

Hopefully I will have it in Sunday. The motor is a 1600DP turn key ready to be bolted in too. I will need a bowden tube, accelerator cable, ground strap, autostick starter and a battery. I need to install the gas tank and then build the brakes. I'm getting close.

I got the trans mounted and the motor bolted in. I need to finish getting the tins on the motor and then hook it up. Fuel system is next....
