Toys for Tots Show coming up fast. 2nd Saturday of December aka 12/8. Motorcycles, 4x4's, VW's and, this year, they are working on a car show (non-vw). The VW show is going to be separate for the time being.
Where: Pasadena Convention Center corner of Fairmont and Red Bluff, just east of Beltway 8
When: Early am to ~3 pm (the Motorcycle Run from League City leaves around 10).
Entry: Toy or $5 for registration
Trophies: Up in the air on this. Probably top 10 people's choice. Frankly, this is more about the kids than us so... I'd just like to fill up the Thing with toys and I'll leave happy.
The Toy Run Committee is looking for sponsors and vendors. $500 'corp' sponsorship by Sunday, 11/11, gets you on the shirts and banner.
Vendor spots are based on size (all files are posted on the T4T webpage below or Bay Area VW Club facebook page).
There is also a Chili Cookoff!
Kids play area, biker games, redneck games, 4x4 car crushing, marine helo and Bradley fighting vehicle appearances (fun to watch that monster crush cars!).
I have some Harley raffle tickets if anyone is interested. Or you can contact a committee member directly.
