I've been driving the car around with the gen light on. I haven't made any long trips, always meant to polarize the generator just never got to it. So when I went to leave Coffee and Cars today the battery didn't have enough juice to turn the starter over, so I had to be push started by the DLK pit crew. So when I got home I tried to polarize the generator and it didn't work. So me and some buddies removed the generator:

I have a used working generator lined up, but I'm working 72 hrs this week, so it might be a week or so before it gets installed.
