The family and James went riding in the woodlands by the waterway Sunday night with James trying out his new vintage cruiser.

Colin my youngest rode ahead and James sped up to catch him. Something happens. We think the chain popped off but unsure and James goes face first into the concrete. Knocks him out. He lays there at least 5 minutes out cold spitting out blood and sleeping.

I thought it had killed him. My wife being a nurse took care of him checking his pulse and monitoring his breathing while I ran up a hill to a road to flag down traffic. I had to figure out what street were on then call 911. By the time an ambulance showed up about 20 minutes due to a fire in the area James was awake and sitting up.

We took him to the hospital where he received 4 stitches to his lip and severe bruising with a concussion.
