ok, you can sometimes take out the side trans filler 17mm allen, and pry it out of gear. I've done it once a long long time ago, we may have put pictures on thesamba. Later when we pulled the trans, the hockystick was worn, allowing it to get stuck without pulling on the levers in the front of the trans.

So then we replaced it, re-installed the trans and engine, wired it all back up and we only had 1st and 2nd. My dumbass friend got his type 2 and type 3 hocky sticks mixed up. Had to pull the eng and trans again, change out the hocky stick, re-install everything. Pain in the ass
