If you roll the end to the inside and pinch the end between the fender and the body it will look better than just cutting it square at the bottom of the fender.

Worked on the driver's side window trim and got the vent window finally installed and closing. That was a bitch to do. Later on this week I am going to try to install the roll up window. Any hints?
Also I tried to install the door gasket and it seems to bind up the door at the front when trying to close. To where you really have to slam the door shut and when you push the handle button to open it springs open. Any hints here too?

That's normal I think ours was like that too and it eventually flattened out and shut great.

Got the brakes bled and the outside trim pieces installed (yes I know the front badge is not correct for the year bug but a very close family friend purchased it a long time ago when KBug first got the Bug). The new sterring came in and it looks great!
I have decided since the weather has been really cold and this project is way behind, I would wait to install the headliner when it starts warming up. This would get the car a step closer to being roadworthy enough for KBug to enjoy the later part of her senior year. So hopefully next weekend I'll have the windows installed. You that little aluminum trim that goes into the glass rubber...thats abitch to install and keep the seal on the glass. I bow down to you guys that says its not that bad. The back three windows for now will sport the California look until the headliner is installed.
