I took my crank over to Jose' at DPR the other day and he polished out my crank journals, it wasn't so bad that it needed to be turned. A couple weeks ago I sent my valves off to Ferrea to have them square up and harden the tips and make one new exhaust valve. hopefully those will be done soon. I already got my new titanium LS-1 retainers and locks, so now I just need to order some springs.
This afternoon I blueprinted my new main bearings and everything looked good so I modified the oil grooves on #'s 1-3. Next I need to blueprint the rod and cam bearings and set the cam thrust, then I can assemble the bottom end.
Earlier this week I got my custom SyncLink throttle linkage, I'm pretty excited to try it out. I'm hoping to have the car back on the road in early to mid February.

I cant wait for the feed back on the linkage. There is a local guy who runs that SyncLink. I talked with him a bit at Kermits one day, he said it was a PITA to hook up initially, but once he got it fine tuned he loves it.

Yeah, the only thing I'm not thrilled with on the design is that you have to run the cable from the back of the car to the front, and pull the cable out any time you need to pull the motor, or even the fan shroud. Other than that seems like a great system and should be easy to sync. Pete was great to work with, he made me custom brackets to work with my Berg manifolds.

Heck yeah, lots of good stuff. Pete is a good guy, I'm glad he is back and still making this stuff.

I checked on thesamba and looks like he has been working on this system since 2010. I would hate to have to remove the pedal assembly every time you have to do anything with the engine. Seems like a pain. But it sure cleans up the engine bay.

I'm lucky with the pancake cooling I can just disconnect the pedal cable at the left throttle body, but it doesn't look as good as Pete's

Doug, you don't actually have to pull the petal assembly, you just disconnect the cable from the throttle petal, then pull the cable out from the back of the car. A little bit of a PITA, but not too bad.
