I've had trouble with rust in the fuel again so I've decided to pour 15 the tank.

Got started Tuesday

I put a filter so I could save the gas.

I poured the tank out after it dried and I was very surprised. Ethan and I just cleaned it out a few months ago.

If you would keep more than a gallon of gas in that tank it wouldn't rust as bad w:pw

Follow the directions on that tank sealing kit and you will be GTG for a long time. I used it on the notch over 2 years ago and I have zero issues with rust in the tank...shitty gas that clogs my filter is another story

I would also do a muriatic acid treatment before you seal it up, the flash rust it creates helps the Metal Ready galvanize the inside of the tank.

Gas tank is finished just letting it dry now. Says 96 hours to cure. It's crazy how much they give you and how little you use.

Yeah, I think I may have used like a quarter of the can when I did mine. Remember though, our tanks are tiny compared to most cars ;)

I'd do it prior to paint. The kit will eat the paint off.
