If it where me I would chrome them. They look so much better chromed. I don't envy you making the 8's fit the rear. I know Buddy had to use spacers just to keep 6's from rubbing the spring plate, and I had another friend that had to run ridiculously small tires in the rear to get 7's to even fit and he had to lift the rear up a bit, they still rubbed like hell when he hit a bump or launched hard.

Oh crap. I might be screwed, I didnt think it would be a problem.
I just looked at the and dont see that there should be an issue. They are a deep dish , not much of a diiference from the fronts on offset, I figured that if I ran the 17s without a problem on the rear the 16s should be easy.

The 17s were 7s. The offset is the same as the 6s , and I will use spacers if needed.

My rears are 15x8 and fit just fine with no rubbing and no spacers.

Yes but you also have about 2-3 inches of air above your tire and looking at your picture you posted your tires stick out either even with the fender or past the fender lip. To me it looks to be past the fender. Jason is usually way lower with his cars in the past. Like I mentioned there are several offsets with those rims there is a 951, 911, and I think a 930 or 944 offset

Also I never said they wouldn't fit I just said I don't envy him for what he will have to go through to make them work with a lowered car.

I think I will be fine, I'm not slamming the rear , not even doing air in the front , it will be static drop. I have rear disc and spacers if needed.

I run 17*7 and when you are low the rub. I had to put a spacer so it doesn't run and to clear the a-1 muffler. If your planning to run an A-1 you'll have issues riding low. The largest tire I could run was 215, couldn't fit anything else.

But they do look good
