Wayne- I just get in the car and go too. When I limped the honduh home a few weeks ago I knew I could just hop into the notch and be good 2 go (I hadn't messed with the tune for at least 4 months before that). I'm just taking advantage of driving it everyday to get the tune perfected, it's saving me time and gas to do it this way, plus it makes the long drives more interesting.
as good as your stocker runs, I can guarantee if you were monitoring the the O2 you would see it too rich and too lean in parts of your tune and I know for a fact the stock dizzy is not giving the motor the amount of advance it wants which leads to hot heads, sluggish throttle advance, and your poor mileage. Andy in the UK has a stock 40hp with nothing else except a computer controlled ign setup and his mileage went from 21mpg to 39mpg plus his throttle response improved greatly and it had more pep. Put that in your pipe and smoke it Wayne
