Have any of you ordered from turnerplates? He has a set I want but not answearing email. Plate collectors tend to be old dudes, so hope he's alright.

Speaking of, my truck is titled as a 59, although technically it is a 60. That happens all the time so I'm not go an worry about it, but for those of you running early plates on your trucks, did you get yom regular plates or truck plates? I'm guessing they won't hassle me either way but what did you do? Can I use old 59 farm truck plates or is that asking for trouble too?

No word on shipping yet, the worst part of buying a long distance vehicle for sure

I'm gonna get a set of truck plates for mine. You can't use Farm Truck plates. You need an Ag exemption to use them. You not a farmer..... I'm sure you could use regular YOM plates, but what fun is that?!

I'm not sure if you have to have an ag exemption to run farm truck plates as an antique vehicle. Ethan had dealer vintage plates and he is not a dealer. I'd check with the dmv if you wanted to run farm truck plates. I'd just buy truck plates though.

Yeah, I would jump through hoops to run 59 dealer plates

Thing about truck plates is that they are more expensive and if you run a vintage or any plate frame really, they cover up the part that says truck on the bottom. Guess frameless they look good, or some old skinny frames.

Wish turnerplates got back to me, they have a sweet set with 777 on them.

The dropgates website has a bunch of good truck/Binz info. It says the 60 model year started on Sep 30. What date does the M-plate show? Sounds like there's a really good chance it actually is a 59.

good news and bad news

the good news is that the DC is getting picked up!

The bad news is that we are looking at Tuesday the 16th for delivery :(

that makes it all but impossible to turn around and drive it to Fredricksburg friday. I was going to try, but every single time I've bought a car out of state it arrived in much less or driving condition than I was led to believe, even and especially buying from friends lol. I plan for that, and figure that into what I will pay, but 2 days just isnt enough seat time for me to make that kind of drive. If it gets here Tuesday and everything looks, smells, sounds, and feels good, I will try. If not, I will be wrenchin on it while yall are partying it up. Look for a right side seamed gate for me ;)
