I know that a large quantity made their way to the US last week, from London to SoCal, to NorCal. Where these part of that bunch? SA Sprints have always been my favorite, been thinking about them for my DC

Nope, the guy i bought these from actually worked in africa for a length of time a few years ago and managed to grab several sets of 14s and 15s while he was there. He is now selling all of his SA Sprint Stars. The set i bought were the ones he had rehooped and was saving for his car.

I think I'm just going to have them powder-coated black for now by my local buddy. I don't want to rush into finding a chrome shop and be unhappy with anything. So I'll take my time and roll them that way until that time comes.

They will look great just black when is this gonna happen?

Just my opinion, but to hide one of the best rims under black powdercoat would almost be a shame. Plus it's a bitch to take off later.

I would clean them and spray them black. Then tape off the black background and spray them silver (like original) its super cheap, looks great, and if you want to chrome later it's easy.

And then taped em off and sprayed the silver. Don't have any pictures of the taping but here's the final. They came out nice and it was just 2cans of each from autozone and some clear over it after I was done




again, just my opinion. These wheels pop in chrome or detailed and all black will just hide the coolness

I hate that they're just sitting here though! I'll have them done soon. I have to go to New Jersey for two weeks to help man a fire station. We leave May 19th, but when I get back...IT's ON!!
