Good luck with the build man , sounds like it will be nice, and there are lots of people around willing to help I'm sure. I live way south of Houston or I would give you a hand. I dont think Nick has never had air ride so don't take any advice from him there , lol. now if you want to go fuel injection then he might be the guy to talk to. Airkewlded makes nice shit, yea it may be more money than other options , but you know what they say. You get what you pay for. Problem with air ride in my opinion is air shocks don't work as well as bags but you can't run a bag on both sides of your beam like you can shocks, unless you do some custom fabricating. if you do the one side bagged beams then you sag on one side.
I had an airkewlded kit and it works but you will be dealing with an air compressor, wires, switchs, valves a tank and well is it worth it ?
I may put the 66 vert on air at some point but the show car that I am building will not be air, too much stuff to deal with, and my non air beam is also from airkewled because Pete builds nice shit. Going static drop is just so much easier. Good luck man and if I can help you I will. Just send me a pm.
You can also ask red James or Nate aka lucky penny or krusty they also have air rides.
Just my 2 cents.
