I've been having trouble with the brake pedal not coming all the way back when I let off the break, rear brakes not releasing all the way, until I pull the pedal back with my foot.
So I bought a new brake pedal spring to see if that was the problem.
I removed the pedal cluster, cleaned & lubed it up. The break pedal still seems hard to move, very stiff...is that normal?
Anyone have one I can compare it to?

I would pull it apart, and polish the internal bits, it is probably gunked / rusted up. It should not be hard to rotate on the shaft when not bolted into the car.

See if the above video helps at all. That pin can be a bear to get out though...

Just finished watching that video you posted, I can't get the pin out of the clutch pedal, to take the rest of it a part, I'll try again tomorrow.

Yup, what they said. And I think it may need to come out in one specific direction. So if you hit it from one side and it doesn't seem to budge, try it from the other side.
