That's actually a really good idea, Brian. However, I ditched my charcoal can years ago. I do still have the rest of the system in tact under the front hood, so I guess its possible that one or more of the hoses have collapsed or something. If I have any fuel hose left over, I may try the tank vent mod. I've never had an issue before otherwise I probably would have done it already...
