Looks like a '59, especially due to the drain tubes in the back. That is a 58/59 only thing.

Check out this thread, TONS of info on 58/59 stuff...

The link Kostya posted is the best place to get 58 and 59 information, from people that have built these cars and know the in's and out's. I only know some, as a lot of it carried halfway into 1960, and I needed that info when doing my '60 Vert.

Some other stuff you may or may not know. The rear fenders should be 57-59. Dot dash pattern between the bolt holes. Front fenders should have wire tubes from the headlight bucket to the matching hole on the side of the body. All electrical connections should be screw in bare wire, no spade terminals on anything. Ice pick door handles of course, but later doors can be made to work by welding the little hole. Fiberboard on the rear seat seat back, the list goes on and one, which is why 58 and 59's are highly desirable.

All that said, I wouldnt worry about it. I would do the hood and the front apron, as those are noticeable. But no one is going to be taking apart your tail lights to make sure they are screw terminal, and I'd bet not that many people know about the rear fender pressing between the bolts. I'd just do the car to the best of your ability, and ask questions where you are not sure. Look at Kostya's black 58 as much as you can, because that is as original and correct as you are going to find
