Nothing wrong with wanting to build a nice car. I am building MY Perfect car, not A perfect car so in MY opinion Perfection is not over-rated. You have built your perfect car for you and you do not see me saying your car is over-rated. Why assume that I am building a model car and that I will not drive it?

"Perfection" usually has pretty certain connotations and implications, especially when used in a phrase the way you did. I would certainly never use the word "perfect" to describe my car, not even to say that it's "perfect for me."

Anyway, no need to argue about semantics, I'm sure your car will be awesome when that day comes.
