Nothing wrong with wanting to build a nice car. I am building MY Perfect car, not A perfect car so in MY opinion Perfection is not over-rated. You have built your perfect car for you and you do not see me saying your car is over-rated. Why assume that I am building a model car and that I will not drive it?

"Perfection" usually has pretty certain connotations and implications, especially when used in a phrase the way you did. I would certainly never use the word "perfect" to describe my car, not even to say that it's "perfect for me." ;) Anyway, no need to argue about semantics, I'm sure your car will be awesome when that day comes.
