Thanks guys. Wayne came over with a jack today and we got the engine dropped. So I don't need a jack as I am borrowing this one. Anytime in the afternoon would be great just so I can have someone guide the engine in place. There won't be a whole lot of work to be done at that point since I should have everything cleaned up, swapped over and ready to go.

My number: (916)769-5197 and you can txt me for the address.

Thanks again.

No, not yet. I still have a couple things to clean up and swap over, but all the heavy lifting is done. The long block is in, it's all just ancillaries now.

Got the 1915 fired up around 7:30 Saturday night. Did some carb tweaking today and it seems to be running good. It sure moves around more with the oem mounts, though. The air cleaner top is smacking the body on the right side which has never happened before. Looks like I might have to do some trimming. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to see how it does on a longer drive.

A big thanks to Wayne, Ethan, Doug, and Eric G for helping me out!

I would run HD OEM mounts. Solid mounts will transfer a lot of noise and vibration into the car. I know a lot of people will tell you to avoid urethane mounts, but I've never had any problems with them, as another option. Yet another is the yellow mounts from CB, which I have no personal experience with but have heard good things.

I was running the red urethane ones from SAW and they were quite old. They weren't cracked, but you could see that they were squished. They were pretty hard as well. I'd like to go with something stronger because I have some extra power but these were the best I could get with short notice and I wanted to do it while the engine was out already to make it easier.
