What's size sand blaster did u use and what material

Jason, it was a regular 110lb blaster from Harbor Freight Tool, now the size of the compressor is another story. The compressor we have pushes like 20-23 CFM from Husky. The CFM is really what you need to keep the pressure up to not waste the media. Then if you buy a big compressor it creates a lot of moisture and you HAVE to do the whole water separator set up or else you will have clogging issues. I've attached a few pictures. Then The type of media I used was Black beauty, if you use the medium or fine would be determined by the extent of rust damage to your car. The car I bought was solid but the previous owner mush have kept putting Osho rust remover on it and didn't clean it off so my body was pitted.

These are cheap they did the job but less that a year the diaphram already went bad in both.

Next time I buy a car I'll be buying it built or building it in the US then shipping it home. lol Crazy experience but I'm learning alot. Car should have some color in a few weeks and I'm excited about that. Did some sanding to get ready to run some poly primer. Help a guy buy a nice 1961 that was on island so he brought thru to the garage and my body man just brought in a 1962 that will be crazy with in the next year.

HOW THE HELL DO YOU GET ALL THE MEDIA OUT OF THE CAR AFTER YOU MEDIA BLAST IT..........JEEZ! lol :furious:
