Haven't done anything for a while but I should be seeing some color soon after what we did yesterday. We will begin to wet sand next.

Also wanna thank Murray for helping me figure out this confusion with my rear tension for my rag top. Long story short usually 2 folds had 9 stud tension straps, well my car has 11 bolt incased in the roof. He was able find out that there late 55-mid 56 rag tops have about 3 different variations with the square corners and rounded corners. You learn something new every day.

It's been a while since I posted but I been working on the car slowly. Changed up a few things and put some base coat paint on the car.

Changes bolts and washers on the Jaycee retainers

Put in some quick release pins in the deck lid and some things from JBE.

I'm using fiber glass bumpers, so to get that clean look I don't want the bolts showing after I paint them.

Needed two extra gauges and was torn on where to put them. There is a column mount in production but until them this is perfect for me.

Finally there is layers of base coat going on after we wet sanded the bug to a shine.

Finally got some color on my car and I'm very pleased. My body man Zuki based the whole car then he went in on the Polar Porsche Silver paint then he went HAM on several coats of clear.
