Great work and pictures! This is my next step (pans). Seems I need to make more holes. I did not do every inch.

Yep what Eliot said bigger holes. I would say an inch spacing is close to what the factory placed them as well.

Got a little more done today....Well as some of you may know a 61 has an unusual tank in that it does not have a hole for the sending unit, although the pressing is there. Now here in the US we refer to these as 61 one year only tanks, but world wide they came like that up to 67 I believe in the standard models. Well I scored one just about a year ago and it sat in our office unopened for about 6 months until the wife got tired of moving it around and took it to the garage. I finally opened it today and at first sight I thought to myself this don't look good. Well I unpacked it and got a flashlight out and peered inside as far as I could see and I was pleasantly amazed at how nice it actually was. It had its share of patina on the outside but it was very nice on the inside. There was also a big bonus item inside it had one of the electric sending units that are a little hard to find. Now I am not sure if it works or not but I do plan to look a little further into it because it is rather a neat option. Well moving a long, a big thanks goes out to Miguel he spent the better part of the day behind the blaster

Here is the sending unit

Looks to be a wire use to be attached to here I am not sure if this is something I can fix or not.

There where a couple of dents I had to pull out of the tank. I got to use Jason's cool dent puller.

Some of the very few pictures of me actually working on my car. I am usually the one taking the photos. You can tell I like to pull dents.

It was cool enough to get the job done that's for sure. The pay sucks though. The people at Mickey D's get paid more than me :blueguy: :furious:
