so with the car cleaned thursday night, I drove it to work friday.

Image

and promptly locked the keys in the car... :furious:

and the vent windows and rubber are too tight to get at. So I used Hagerty's road assistance for the first time. Literally 10 minutes he was there, and 3 minutes after it was unlocked

so I drove it around all weekend running errands and kicking it with friends.

Image

Saturday night got VIP treatment downtown, nice spot up front, eveybody tripping out on the car, asking questions "What year is your BMW?" etc lol. Fun times

Sunday morning did a local car show, hung out with some rodderz, evrybody trippin out on the car and it's originality. Made for a nice first weekend in Houston

Still need to sort out the brakes, left front locks up really easily so I suspect the right front wheel cylinders need replacing. Yeah right, unubtanium, so I'll have to do some digging to come up with seal and cup sizes. I don't want to take it on the freeway as is. No dashlight illumination at all with the headlights, so need to look into that too. And the horn. Interior light sometimes works with the door, sometimes doesnt so gonna look into that this weekend as well

Been driving it a lot, work friday, HTX Bikefest yesterday. Talked with Pedro and ordered a deck lid rack. This one is powdercoated, but with my car having nothing powdercoat or dull metal to match, mine's gonna be triple chrome

The car is amazing. Even better in person than the pics show.

Man, that thing is CLEAN! Congrats.
Now, if it were just raked real hard, had some SA Sprints, and 180+ hp or so... :P

Thanks. I think this one is staying stock, it's too nice and OG. I actually just sold my SA Sprints last week to keep me from getting tempted.
