Well my ragtop assembly is finished and headed back to me. I had a lot of rust issues and Al found me replacement pieces for what I needed and I am still waiting on my goldie handle to come back from the chromer. All the pieces were powdercoated of course the powder coat did not hide the pits on the front bow but once the canvas is on it you won't see that. Al recommended not to change the rollers, they are stained but are in excellent condition, and once installed you won't see them. Al says the quality of the new rollers don't match up to factory quality, but he is sending a replacement set if I want to install them.

Any update?

I am currently waiting on parts to finish making the pan a roller. Waiting on warmer weather to finish the body. There are just too many issues spraying the clear in the cooler weather without a heated booth. So I will fill the gap with the little things like refurbishing the wiper motor and door mechs and other little time consuming things until it warms up.
