Well I got a little done today I scraped 54 years of hard greasy grime from my axle tubes and Miguel put some time behind the sandblaster and got them even cleaner.

Also after a 16 week wait I finally got my spring plates in. Awesome product, but a horrible company to deal with. I wouldn't recommend them at all. This is actually the passenger side so it's upside down in this picture but you get the idea.

All I have left to do to the rear end is clean clean the backing plates, paint tthem as well as the tranny and tubes and I will be ready to install everything.

Those trailing arms are nice.. but I've heard the same thing.. or maybe read the same in the feed back thread on samba about them..or him..

Those atom werks spring plates right? They look awesome in the advertisements, so it's disappointing to hear that they're not good to deal with. :(
