Here's some OG bits that we're going to fabricate for the Frid  Trying to give it a real Industrial look. This is a real one that we're going to repop.

OK, so here's what was going on with the ball joint beam. Lucky's was pretty backed up with projects so Buddy impatiently ordered one from Russ at Old Speed. Well... Let's just say it would've worked but it was ugly as hell... Being partners in Lucky's, this wasn't going to work... LZ jumped into action and built one. This is the first attempt at a ball joint beam and LZ is a perfectionist... They are way different than Linkpin beams. The lower tube is flared at the bottom. We couldn't find the proper material, so we had to machine it. The shock towers are way different also. Here's the progress of the beam. It turned out BAD ASS

Here's the Old Speed Beam   Buddy was trying to clean it up... I pulled the plug...

Here's some progress from Buddy's shop. The body should be going to paint in the next few weeks. We're making this thing look as industrial as possible, so NO BLING :nono: :nono: There's lot's of custom ticks being done to the pan though. Check out the removable tunnel bottom plate. This was done for simplicity when maintenancing. It's also where the fuel pump will be bidden/located. All the stainless fuel and brake lines are located in here also. Instead of polishing the stainless, we chose to steel wool finish everything to keep it looking industrial. Notice where all the lines enter the tunnel through the bulkhead. Also notice that the entire bulkhead has been smoothed.

The sand color is going to probably be the body color and the pan accent color. Notice that all the lubrication points are painted red like the old wartime vehicles. It's so the military would know what to lubricate ;) Again, no chrome, NO BLING. Industrial is what we are after
