Well I got my webers in today so now I am motivated to start getting her all together.. So far I have gotten my tins in and exhaust ready to go... I just need a few gaskets and she should be ready to go in by sunday but I am in need of a starter.... Hint: for MJM..... Ill takes some more pics and post them up.

Sorry guys I was away from a computer all day so I couldn't reply. Well Mk specs are not anything special in my opinion but, here you go.
1835cc long block (AS41)
Big valve heads
straight cut cam gears
counterweighted and balanced crank
forged pistons
teflon buttons
solid rocker shafts
swivel feet rockers
engle 120
deep sump
hd oil pump with external filter
doghouse cooler
weber 44 idf's
so what do you think she'll make in hp?

The man that built the motor is my buddy at Old Speed in Pamona, California. Alot of his work are on hot vw feature cars and he will not sell you anything you do not need.....

Sounds like a nice setup! A lot depends on the heads. Are they un-ported 40x35.5's?
