1 of 1,000 Baja Champion SE’s built. Paint color, wheels and dash plaque are special to this model. This car is pretty much untouched from factory. Wiring is not butchered, body not hacked. Project, not running. Body and pan practically rust free. Body has some bondo mainly in the roof, the rest of the body is pretty straight. Includes original engine block and most of the engine parts disassembled (engine case is std, but needs line bore. Thrust is good). Includes all five special wheels with unique caps (a second set of four wheels and caps also available extra). Dash plaque in good shape. Also includes replica dealer side stripe kit in white. Listed locally for $2000. Will include Bill of Sale only.

Yeah I got an ebay offer for 500. I counter with 1750 and he comes back with 700. I responded with 1700 and he says "the engine is in pieces and you don't have a title, good luck."
I said it's a limited edition of 1,000 units and that I know what I have. Thanks!

Well it worth what someone would be willing to pay for it, it a super beetle with no title, so that's a tough sell, might be low production but not desirable

I would work to get a bonded title, be a little leg work and around 300-500 in fees

I might eventually do that if it doesn't sell for a while. I'm not too hard pressed to sell it now that I got my other car sold.

Finally sold this car. Went way down from my listing price. We signed the bill of sale and he paid. Lent the guy my tow bar (with a deposit) because his didn’t work. Showed him the parts that went with it and we loaded them up. Now he’s complaining the deal wasn’t fair because of how much it’s going to cost him to get it running, titled and registered, even though he knew full well that it was being sold without a title. He wants some money back because of this and the fact that the rods need new bearings and because it’s missing P&Cs, carb and exhaust (even though I stated in the ad that I only have most of the engine parts and included a picture of everything). He had come to look at the car twice and had full access to it and he’s even admitting that it was his fault for not checking to see what was there. I told him that I’m sorry that he’s disappointed but I’m not going to take the car back or give him a refund. Ugh. :furious:
