I had the Superhold pomade in that day :dance: ;)
They do sell halves, but I'm going to try to get away with doing used fronts and new rear quarters, supposedly quarters are easier and it might save us money.
Then again, I have no experience in replacing pans, let alone on a type 3.

We can probably have a work day for the engine teardown and reassy. and another for the pans when it comes time. I want to do this car right. :thumbs:

Well we've sourced a transmission and an entire type 3 engine complete from carbs to exhaust! :dance:

I guess I should order pans pretty soon :lol:

Cool project, I've always liked Fastbacks.
Some of the old time dLk members might remember doing some work on a type 3 at my house. It wasn't just the pans though, it was basically the entire bottom 6 inches of the car lol.
