Hey Guys,
Chris here from Dallas, I have been a lover of VW's since I first saw a THING back in the 80's growing up in AZ. I was transplanted to TX in 89' and just aquired my first VW a few months back for my son and I to have fun with. Maybe he'll be lucky enough to have it handed down to him in 12 years at the ripe age of 16.
I'm glad I found a cool group here in TX !

Welcome to the dLk board Chris. Where in the Dallas area are you located? I have a stepson that has a 65 type 1 and 67 Ghia who lives up in Denton.

I am in Farmers Branch, my good friend Gary has a 63 Rat Rod out in Aubrey (bout 5-10 east of Denton on 380).

We are trying to get something organized up here as far as just meeting up and going out for cruises... we don't really hear about that kind of thing happening.
Does he know of any?
