why doesnt it work?

Well Bo came over tonight and gave a hand putting the beam back together, I never thought to measure it and was told at the time when I bought it that is was 2" narrowed but it turned out to be 3". getting close to getting it on the car,Bo did a great job on the paint. Thanks again for your help! I did run into a nasty problem with the adjusters on one of the backing plates they are froze solid.

No need to be sorry 3 is better than 2 ! It didnt give me any problem at all.

Thanks goes out to Bo(aka gostros) and Doug (aka Boom) we got the beam in and the star adjusters removed from that one backing plate. also got all new brakes system installed (new shoes, wheel cylinders, brake lines , and master cylinder. Ill get some pic's up soon, Ive got a couple of rust issues up front and I think I am going to throw some fresh paint on the front bulk head. Doug took some pic as well maybe he will have them up soon.
