Hello,

I just found out about this site today from one of your members, Ethan, ConcreteAce. I am building a German Look Notch. It is still very much in the project stage.

Wheels are porsche twist 17x7 and 17x9. 4 wheel disc, swing torsion housing converted to IRS and narrowed 4" total.

Upright engine conversion. I need to borrow a long block (locked) so that I can complete the engine bay sheetmetal if anyone has one??

Didn't you used to have a type 1 that you were building a custom fuel injection system for?

Yes. It was a 63 t1, 2387, was Megasquirt, then 48 dells. I sold it last year and started this project.

This will be similar, 2387, FI, not sure if I'm going to go with MS again yet, turbo, air/water intercooler. There should be plenty of space to put everything with the upright conversion. I'll start on the engine after the chassis is finished. For now I need a core to mock up the engine sheet metal over winter.

I'm looking at buying a tubing bender soon to start on the cage, so if anyone needs bends for a roll bar or cage...
