Nothing but good things to say about KAR parts here. Kermit is one of the nicest guys I've ever met and yeah, when you need that VW-specific part that no one else in town has it's sure nice that he's there 8-)

Although I have been buying for Kermit since high school. I think his prices have gotton way to high on some things. Kermit is a stand up guy though.

dont take that for greed though. you have to consider he has to compete with companies that can buy mass quantities, because they are shipping everywhere, not just selling locally to a small group of people. since they can buy more, they can buy cheaper. plus they have the advantage of not charging tax, since they are outside the state. but dont forget, when you need something now, when he goes away, it wont happen. sometimes a little extra money is worth the service and convenience. support your local shops as much as possible.
