well the body wont be ready for a week or two at least but I will do some measuring to see if its low enough I am thinking I didnt lower it enough

yea I just measured and the body doesnt hang any lower than the beam which means its gonna be about five inches we will see how much that changes when the body gets put on

narrowed the tie rods and got them on now I just have to get the body on so I can see if they will hit anything Ethan mentioned about strengthening them when I welded them back together but I only did that to the long one and will probably end up taking the short one back off to do it right after the body gets put back

Is the 3M undercoating easy to apply? Do you know if it reacts to petroleum products? Along time ago I used rubberized undercoating in the engine area. I had an oil leak and it started to make the coating sticky and rub off.

The last car I built I used spray on bedliner (in a can). For the notch I've been thinking about using Line-X.

You car is going to look great.

well I am not sure but the can doesnt say anything about keeping petroleum products off of it but for that matter it doesnt really say anything more than directions for applying. I hope it doesnt since I used it on the top of the pans as well Line X would be a better choice I think I chose 3M because of price and I didnt like how the master series black was coming out
