Thank you, I try my best and when its not good enough I try again.

I spent time working on the subframe tonight. It will be finished soon.

What I've got left on the rear suspension...

Build trailing arms (ordered all the stuff last night)
Build brackets from tbe body to the top of the shock mounts
Sort out the transmission and add mid mount, nose mount or whatever I end up with. I want a 091, but they are difficult to find and expensive.
Add the rear section of the cage.

I will be pushing it around on four wheels pretty soon.

I got the brackets from the body to the shock mount built. The pictures came out dark so I wont post them.

I picked up a borrowed engine from doug today. THANKS DOUG! He also gave me this peice of firewall sheet metal with the seal channel which will be a great start at building the firewall. I got a fresh 4'x8' sheet of 20 gauge so I can get start this week. I'm going to try to make it similar to to the KCW notch except I dont have the 4 in trans raise.

Looks like I wont be able to use that peice for the firewall after all. Since its from an oval the engine tin is slightly different.

Ahhh back to the drawing board...

They are very close, I put a 1600-based engine in my 55 and I didn't do any thing to that piece. It does interfere a little with the doghouse exhaust duct, but you can fix that easily.
