Here is a little progress:

I had to go up up and away to get to the welding behind the shock tower

I have about 20-30 min of grinding left to do. Then I get to fit the front apron. That should be a joy since my rough fit has about 1/2" metal covering some of the bolt holes.

Yep and I was thinking the neon lights and 150 spoke Daytons with the gold knockoffs just like your car. Copying your idea is the greatest form of flattery right?

Oh yeah and the little dangly things that hang around the windows that you only see in cabs in Mexico.

Ok got a lot accomplished Friday night. Here is where I had to clearance the bolt holes(Sorry for the bad photos?):

Here is where the metal needs to be removed:

Here is the a few with some of the holes punched for the plug welds:

I had to cut and clearance some of the weather stip channel on both sides. It took quite awhile to get it all fitted and looking good. Hood looked nice and flush on most of it, except for about a 1/2" on the drivers side most likely from the accident. It maybe the hood too, so I dont know yet, but I can live with it though. I got the apron 95% welded in but it was midnight so I had to call it. Once I get that welded up, I will post up some more pics.
