the bolts I see in the pic I thought were for the pedal stops

Those bolts hold both the pedal stop in place and also the upright for the pedals. So you are correct

I think the rhd is really cool. I don't think I'd ever get used to shifting with my left hand though  Great work, I'm glad to see you making progress

Yeah I am dumb because I practice shifting in my automatic when I think about it  :hillbilly: I think it will be fun. The only thing I am concerned about it parallel parking since the B-piller will be right there. :help:

I owe Mano a huge thank you for comeing up today and doing some awsome welding on the framehead. We had a good time talking cars and getting this pan one step closer to being done. Thanks once again Mano! Anyways here is what was going down.
To recap what needed to be fixed (this needed to be done for all four)

In action:

Final product and these things arent going anywhere (already ground the welds down so the beam sits flush)

Also he went over the welds again on the midmount:

Just have to finish up my pedal mod and get that welded in. Also have to sheet metal screw my trans cover in, and then the pan is ready to be cleaned up and coated.

Ok, the body is done and ready for the media blasters. I just have to finish stripping the "pass" side door, but that should take about 20 min to do. I thought the pan was done, but I realized this weekend that there are no seatbelt holes. So now I have to fab up some plates to weld under the pan and get that done. Hope to have those done this weekend. Sorry no pics this time.

Mano was kind enough to cut the metal plates and weld the nuts for my seat belt brackets. Thank you again Mano. Just have to radius the corners, drill a hole in the pan and weld these in. Seam seal them and then the pan will be ready to coat. Will post pics when I have those ready to go.
