Stupid hurricane :furious: I sure hope the people in Galveston and other hard hit places recover from this ASAP. I feel for them, and my prayers go out to them.

As far as the cruise........ well maybe some day this spring 8-)

Still can be a beach cruise. There were people on the beach driving on Jamaica Beach Today. More people on the beach just before the beach park and some up near the sea wall. Tons of cars on the Seawall today and joggers, bikes, etc. THough if you drive down one of the roads to homes you'll see a mess. The sand is up on the road going towards the beach park and looks like dunes. The beach park is gone though.
We sat up on the sea wall and also went to our Fav place to eat for breakfast this morning. Had a great time.

11/9/08

We went again this morning. They opened up the new bridge on both sides. All the mess over the bridge is now gone. We didn't go to the seawall this time though. Tons of bikes going over there today. Bicycles not Motorcycles. They have two break down lanes now going over the big bridges now.

Went to Galveston today also. Nice day. Strand looks bad still though. Did not take the bus though. Took the truck.
