Good work!! Good job bracing the body before cutting. Several years ago a good friend of mine built and painted a 56 oval. He called me to look at the doors because they didn't close  . I noticed that the heater channels were replaced. He said "yeah they said it was done right" Well why did you buy it without seeing the doors on it? This was my reply. Well a days worth of work cutting, pushing with the port-o-power, pulling with a come along, measuring and hanging doors. We finally got it fixed. I let him use my paint booth to paint the car himself with the help of two other friends. It was a custom pearl green with a silver two tone. His plates said GREEEN. Maybe someone has seen it. He sold it on E-Bay to someone in another state 3 or 4 years ago. It was this car that got me intrested in VW's.

Will you be working on it next Saturday? If I don't have to work I'd like to help out.

Thanks man! Yeah, we've got it braced up pretty well, I guess we'll see how well when we go to close the doors

We didn't get as much done today as we would have liked, but I still think we did okay. The drivers side channel is pretty much done, so the pan will be next. The passenger side fenders are on now and the passenger side seams are all sealed up. I think we got a lot done in one weekend. Thanks to everyone who helped out over the weekend, you guys ROCK!

Damn it, I missed the most important part, breakfast by the Iron Chef! Good progress though, always good to see it start to come together.
