If he does throw this next year, we need to throw our support behind him, If he makes it a one day show I think it would do better.

I agree , People can plan on going to a one day, Since this is out in a area that there is nothing else to do. Unlike Fredericksburg (shopping etc for the faimly) They can keep the interest by planning it all in one day.

yes, ethan did ask if he could use my pics and i am glad to help.

it was good to see everyone that showed up!

i agree, all of us, need to throw our support behind them next year. they are stubborn and do actually plan on doing this show again, thankfully for all us. they do also plan on it always being a two day show. two day shows can happen and do. ie the classic. it takes us to make it happen, not the people that put on the show. this year there was not alot of advanced notice, so it was def tuff for them to pull off in a big way and adjusted to the turnout accordingly. we live in the 4th largest city in the US and there are plenty of attractions for people to come from all over to do as well. bigger turnouts on saturday can turn into a dinner cruise, as they would like to do and other weekend shows do. crankshaft just was not prepared for the local vw owners weird idiosyncrasies with shows. since the rodders and mini truckers love weekend long shows, that is what they are used to.

i hope we can all come together to keep this show going and growing!

Thank you very much for the support!!! Yes we are going to do this show for years to come we won't give up, sometimes you have to go threw a lil trial and error to make things right, now we know what to do and what not to do. Yes we are used to going to mini truck shows and hot rod shows, but it's not about the location believe me, we have a mini truck show were going to coming up, and it's in the middle of NO WHERE. The reason we go is we love what we do and we LOVE HANGING OUT WITH OUR FRIENDS FOR THE WEEKEND!! We don't get to see everyone that often cause they live all over, and this gives us a chance to hang out. That's what we want to accomplish for Volks Down in Texas a place where you can meet up with friends old and new and hang out for the weekend, nothings better than that. I want to Thank yall so much again for all the support and we won't let yall down. We will keep on keeping on.

Thank yall again,
Rachel

P.S. WAIT TILL YALL SEE NEXT YEARS TROPHIES
