Points are a fraction of the price compared to Pertronix. Hopefully that's the problem!

Well, the bus will be going in hibernation. My wife is due any day now, and with a new little one, fixing the vw is now on the back back burner. So, i put all of the interior back in it, rolled it out of the garage and took a few pics. Enjoy!

Congrats on the new little one coming.

I have a question about your interior. Mine on my 1969 bug looks very similar, with the "stuff" stuck to the inside of the roof. Does this "stuff" need to be removed before DynaMat/headliner get installed?

Thanks,
Ron

BTW, Cool Bus!

Thanks, it's fun having another little one around.

That's left from the insulation that was glued up there. in order to get the dynamat to adhere correctly, i would get rid of as much of that as possible and clean the area before applying the dynamat. There might be something that 'neutralizes the adhesive, making it easier to scrape off. i would try that. I'm not sure what i'm going to do. I'm not doing a full resto, i just want to get it on the road. Let me know if you need help with anything.

That is what I figured. I also understand getting her back on the road. I've had mine since April of last year and have never driven it legally on the road.

Thanks for the help offer, I might take you up on it.
